Compass Sponsors Porsche at Castle Donington

The Porsche 911 GT2 Carrera driven by Lloyd's broker Hugh Price and part sponsored by Compass Underwriting completed its final UK race for the year at Castle Donnington last week.

Victory was to prove as elusive as it did at Le Mans, where the Porsche team's hopes for a spectacular win disappeared in a blaze of glory when the car was forced to withdraw because of an engine fire in hour 19. Undeterred, the team will be travelling to races in Hungary, Austria, Florida and Africa later this year.

Compass becomes a member of the General Insurance Standards Council
