Compass Underwriting is a member of the Managing General Agents’ Association ("MGAA"). The MGAA sets out to be a central representative body to put the views of its members to Government departments and agencies including the FSA, Parliament, the European Commission and European Union Parliament and other relevant organisations. To represent members and their interests in negotiations or discussions with such legislative, regulatory or Government bodies whose subsequent rulings, regulations or controls may impact members and, when applicable, represent members on bodies or organisations that may have an interest in, or impact on, members. To set best practice guidelines to assist members in ensuring the stability, security and reputation of their individual businesses, while recognising that ultimate responsibility for those issues rests with individual members. Genasys Technologies (Pty) Limited
Genasys Technologies provided Compass with one of the most modern, FSA compliant and up-to-date SQL server insurance systems, SKi, in the UK. It currently handles over 400,000 customers, both personal lines and commercial, with a full CRM management system, policy issuance (including pdf's), claims handling (including setting reserves, issuing cheques, recoveries, diaries etc), direct debit collections, links to external general ledger software (i.e. QuickBooks, Sage) for a whole range of insurance products. It also has a full management reporting including broker statements, insurer's bordereau reports, claims reports, triangulations and ad-hoc enquiries.
It can be used by insurers, brokers or underwriting agencies with special 'super-user' training to allow Compass to have a high level of data control and user-changes. It provides a highly cost effective solution for all insurance requirements.
Protect
Compass is a member of Protect. Protect is the Association of Companies and Individuals working in the UK Protection Markets. Formed in 1999 it takes a leading role in collecting the views and opinions of the protection market practitioners and making those views known to the relevant trade associations, regulators and media.
